Club Officers' Roles & Responsibilities
Check out the speaking schedule (member progress and club progress charts are linked from the schedule).
A monthly request will be sent to all members on or near the 15th asking for your availability the following month.
Members respond with days they will NOT be in attendance and any roles they especially do or do not want assigned. Member
roles will be assigned in support of members' stated goals and club goals.
For example, a speaker may be eager to speak and so request as many speaking slots as possible (one can expect, with 1 - 2
speaking slots per week, to speak according to how many members are in the club).
IF a speaking slot would suddenly come open or several other members request NOT to speak because of busy schedules otherwise,
the Vice President of Education will know to give the eager speaker the slot.
Another example could be that annual work deadlines are approaching for a member who plans to attend meetings but does not
want any assignment that requires preparation outside of club time.
Not responding to the schedule request email will result in regular and fair assignment of roles.
Once a schedule is posted, it is the members responsibility to find a replacement FROM THE MEMBERS WHO ARE NOT OTHERWISE SCHEDULED.
Members do not send out mass emails to everyone requesting a replacement.
Once a schedule is posted, except for errors, changes will not be made online. ANY CHANGES MUST BE COORDINATED WITH THE TM
FOR THAT WEEK.
Member and club progress charts are linked to the schedule -- please be sure they are accurate by notifying the VP of Education
